[Synopsis]
Hidemasa meets Shimamoto, an elderly man who lost his daughter Harue two years earlier.
Shimamto reveals that Harue was pregnant shortly before her death and asks Hidemasa whether he might have been the father of the unborn child.
Shaken by the question, how will Hidemasa respond?
This short film moves across different time periods, mainly set 2020, with scenes also taking place in 2018 and 2009.
Only eleven years before the COVID-19 pandemic, the world faced a deep economic crisis. Even in a world where major crisis seem to return again and again, many people continue to live and reproduce.
From my personal point of view, I wanted to show the strange nature of this world, as well as the quiet strength of people who keep living through difficult times.
